Golf Tournament
Monday, May 7 - Tee Time 12:15pm

Named one of the 10 best new golf courses of 2004 by Travel and Leisure Golf Magazine, Hammock Bay Golf & Country Club, Naples, FL will host the 2007 golf tournament.
The design team of Jacobsen-Hardy (Redstone Golf Club, Moorpark Country Club) has again constructed a modern classic, this one a desert-meets-Florida design with island-style fairways awash in coquina shell-filled waste areas. On the fringes of the Ten Thousand Islands, south of Naples, Hammock Bay features one of the highest golf course elevations in the region, parading players past marshes and mangroves along McIlvane Bay, an estuary of the Gulf of Mexico that usually produces a pleasant breeze. Hammock Bay is the fifth WCI Community to receive the Gold Sustainable Signature Community Designation from Audubon International, and the ninth such overall designated community in the world. www.hammockbaygcc.com

Developed for frog and alligator hunting, the airboat takes you speeding safely over the wetlands. Only your guide can slow the pace of this half-hour adventure that takes you through the grasslands, mangrove jungles, lakes and islands. Big, safe, stable boats as featured on nationwide TV. You will travel down old Indian canoe trails used during the Seminole wars and ride across the Marshland in a TRUE Airboat. Unique and informative.
Alligator Experience
Man and reptile provide an exciting, information packed, never-to-be-forgotten experience. See hundreds of giant alligators, all ready to snap (with your camera). Or hold a baby alligator. Learn to identify the rare American crocodile.

Edison and Ford Winter Estates Tour
Monday, May 7, 2007
12:30 - 5:00 p.m. "Mangoes" was the winter home of Henry Ford and his wife, Clara. Erected in 1911, this three-acre estate adjoins the Edison property. Mr. Ford purchased the house in 1916 to spend time close to his good friend, Thomas Edison, and the Ford family wintered there until Edison's death in 1931.
At 38, Thomas Edison was a widower, seriously ill, and wearied by years of incessant toil. Doctors told him he must seek a warm tropical climate if he expected to live. And, in the bright sunshine, cooling Gulf breezes and easy charm of Ft. Myers, he recovered his health, accomplished important work, and lived to the happy age of 84. Edison's inventive genius is evident throughout his 14-acre riverfront estate. The furniture and architecture of these two fascinating homes as well as the rambling buildings are reminiscent of a bygone era, yet there are many innovations which we do not have in the most modern homes. A guided two hour walking tour of both the Edison and Ford homes includes: Edison's laboratory-office, the tropical botanical garden, and a 7500 square foot museum dedicated by the late Charles Edison, son of the inventor.
Guided, walking, tour of the Edison and Ford Estate and botanical gardens Edison's laboratory and a self guided tour through the artifact museum.
