BSA has made special plans for spouses planning to attend the 2008 Annual Convention
This 2008 schedule provides several functions designed with BSA spouses in mind:
- Spouses are invited to the Opening Breakfast & Business Session at 7:30 am on Sunday, April 27th in the Kiva Ballroom. Speaker Jim Cathcart is recognized as one of the world's best keynote speakers. Jim is an experienced executive and prolific author who has spent 30 years helping people grow their business and expand their life by teaching them to rethink their work, their relationships and themselves. Jim shows clients how to master their craft as well as their lives.
April 28th: Optional Spouse Breakfast (paid individually) at the Canyon Café Patio. Special tables will be available for BSA spouses and you can charge your breakfast right to your room. Afterward, spouses are encouraged to attend the BSA Business Session featuring Frank Miles' presentation,
Laugh at Fear at 10 am in the Kiva Ballroom.
- BSA has planned a number of tour options that capitalize on Ventana's Canyon's desert location, including Tour: Tubac, Tour: DeGrazia Studio / Old Towne Artisans, Tour: Jeep and Tour: Horseback Riding
- Spouses may also take a class with the Loews Culinary Institute or enjoy a hands-on Tour: Beading Workshop
- BSA's traditional golf and tennis events are scheduled for Sunday and Monday afternoons and offer the opportunity to meet with and enjoy other convention attendees as well as the ourstanding sport facilities at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort.
Sunday evening's Opening Reception & Dinner, 6 - 9 pm on the Kiva Patio, offers the opportunity for informal socializing with new and old BSA friends. Dress is casual for this Southwestern Fiesta outdoor event.
- Monday evening's Manufacturer Appreciation event and Sports Awards, 6 - 9 pm at the Coyote Corral, is an informal evening, just the right way to recover from an afternoon of golf or tours. This event features a western theme, so dig out your cowboy boots & hat, bandanas and more for this informal, outdoor event.
- Tuesday evening's traditional Dinner Dance, 8 pm - 12 am in the Kiva Ballroom, gives everyone a chance to dress up in cocktail attire for the final BSA Annual Convention event and enjoy a sumptuous dinner and live dance music
