The "Window Walk"
Loews Ventana Canyon is one of the country's first natural resorts, located to take advantage of an 80-foot natural waterfall on a site that encompasses almost 100 acres of the beautiful Sonoran Desert. Committed to preserving the area's natural resources, the exterior of this oasis in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains was built using massive stone blocks that came from the same land. Ventana is Spanish for window, and every space throughout the hotel is designed to bring the outside in.
Determined to make everyone's visit to the Sonoran Desert richer and more interesting, the resort recently designed a two-mile, educational nature path called the “Window Walk” that provides guests with remarkable views of native vegetation, the natural waterfall, and flowering gardens designed to attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
Loews Ventana Canyon Resort's Ventana Room has been awarded its AAA 5-Diamond rating and is pleased to deliver guests "a 5-diamond experience without pretention or rules."
From the Sonoran Desert to dining, Loews Ventana Canyon Resort offers BSA Annual Convention attendees the grand scale and intimate atmosphere that make it the preferred resort destination in the Southwest.
