BSA’s manufacturer-hosted Conference Table Session offers participants a unique opportunity to pre-schedule and plan for face-to-face meetings to address bearing industry concerns and resolve business problems. Convention attendees find these short, 20-minute meetings to be increasingly productive.

The 2012 Conference Table Session is scheduled for Tuesday morning, May 1, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and will consist of eight, twenty minute sessions including a 20 minute break. Online Conference Table registration will begin on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. You must be registered for the 2012 Annual Convention in order to be assigned a conference table and make appointments. Online registration will remain open until Sunday, April 29 at 6:00 p.m.

Distributors will have the opportunity to sign up for eight, twenty minute appointments online with the manufacturers of their choice until April 29th. Distributors wishing to schedule Conference Table Sessions on-site, may do so but must bring their own computer to register on-line. Manufacturers from 2011 convention that had less than two appointments will be allowed to schedule an appointment with the distributor of their choice before online conference table appointments open on February 1.

Online Conference Table Registration is available to all those who have registered to attend the 2012 Annual Convention. All distributors planning to attend the Conference Tables Session are encouraged to register as soon as possible to assure that they obtain appointments at their desired times. Distributor companies with multiple attendees are encouraged to visit a greater number of manufacturer tables by splitting their attendees into two or more groups rather than making only one appointment in each time slot for the entire distributor company. Distributors are also encouraged to let manufacturers with whom they have made appointments know what they expect to discuss with the manufacturers.

Manufacturer companies will be assigned a Conference Table at the time the first person from the manufacturer company registers to attend the 2012 BSA Convention. It is important that your company have at least one registrant prior to February 1, 2012 so that registered distributors can make appointments for your company’s Conference Table beginning February 1.

BSA also encourages participating manufacturers to hold individual private meetings with registered distributors to maximize your participation at the BSA Convention. 

In fact, the Convention schedule sets aside Tuesday afternoon, May 1, 2012 for private individual meetings.  As a reminder, BSA policy requires that participating manufacturer invitations for individual private meetings must not overlap with BSA programs or social functions other than tours.  To view the schedule of BSA programs and social functions, Click here.
