The 2017 Convention Planning Committee has planned several different activities and scheduled tours that will satisfy every member in your family.
Because these tours are always more fun with friends, we’re also providing this link to the BSA's Electronic Directory, so you can readily connect with other BSA friends as you make your plans.

$30.00 per person
A balanced combination of sustained poses with attention to basic alignment and therapeutic principals. Mindfulness; observing breath and body (triputi) are an integral part of class. Bare feet, all levels. Registration fee is $30.00. The following items are recommended for all guests to bring: Clothing which allows flexible moment of the body, Light-weight jacket for warm-up and cool-down.

Please join the 2017 Convention Committee Spouses for a meet and greet in the Sand Bar Grill. Enjoy a Coffee, tea or a Bloody Mary and discuss your gambling strategies for the next event! Complimentary.

Take your time and gamble among friends, or just stop by to mingle. There will be a section of the Casino Floor reserved for this event. Dealers will provide direction and lessons as you play, whether you are a first timer or a seasoned pro!

Come Lake Mead is the setting for this amazing paddling adventure. The perfect kayak trip for all skill levels, (including those with no experience), this relaxing journey is a must!
This trip is a beautiful, peaceful lake experience! Tour includes all equipment (high performance boat w/ rudder, paddle, life vest), plus a dry bag for your gear.
Veranda AB, 2nd Floor
This Zumba workout mixes body sculpting movements with dance steps derived from cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, hip hop, mambo, rumba, flamenco, and calypso and Salsaton. The routines feature aerobic interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms. It targets areas such as the glutes, legs, arms, abdominal, and the heart. Wear clothes and shoes that are easy to move in. All experience levels, including beginners are encourage to attend. The Registration fee is $30.00 and includes instruction, water, and use of towels.
Spa Pool at Red Rock Spa
Join the BSA spouses for a relaxing poolside luncheon at Red Rock's luxurious spa. After lunch, book yourself a spa appointment from their list of services. BSA attendees receive a 20% discount on all Spa Services over the duration of the BSA Convention! Spa appointment arrangements and payment are on an individual basis.

The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area [RRCNCA] is located just a few miles west of Las Vegas and encompasses 195,819 acres within the Mojave Desert. Red Rock is an area of worldwide geologic interest and beauty. Take in the site on this guided hiking tour.
Suggested attire includes comfortable hiking clothing and shoes, sunglasses and sun block .

Do you have an obsession for ridiculously good Mexican fare and drinks? Today is your lucky day! Guests go behind-the-scenes at one of the city’s hottest restaurants, El Segundo Sol, where they get the inside scoop on how to cook legit Mexican food such as guacamole, chicken enchiladas and tres leches cakes ~ oooh la la! This “Cooking Fiesta” class is designed to help guests add some pizzazz to their next at-home fete. Chef Terry Lynch provides a simple how-to for some of El Segundo Sol’s signature menu items. As a parting gift, guests receive a recipe pamphlet featuring their hot new recipes to recreate at home.

Depart from the hotel lobby for this once in a lifetime opportunity to see Las Vegas, the Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon from a bird's eye perspective, all in one afternoon! You will then land in the Grand Canyon for a champagne lunch before returning to Las Vegas. Don't forget comfortable shoes, sunglasses, and your camera. These helicopters provide quite the ride, so don't forget anti-nausea medication if you are prone to motion sickness.

Note: All leisure activities have a minimum participation requirement and are subject to cancellation. If a cancellation occurs, a full refund will be provided for that activity. Full refunds cannot be guaranteed for cancellations received after March 29 and on-site registration will be on a space-available basis only. A wait list is available for all tours when the maximum number of attendees has been reached. After March 29, BSA is unable to accept exchanges between individuals registered for an event who no longer wish to attend and persons wanting to register onsite.
