Please plan to meet in the Conference Center Entrance at 11:45 a.m. for deluxe roundtrip transportation. Buses will depart promptly at 12:00 p.m. Allow for a 30 minute drive, approximately, from hotel to destination and return.
$168 per person. Includes deluxe roundtrip transportation, admission to The Living Desert, private 2 hour guided tram around the park, free time to explore the park and animals on own, attraction map, all shows and exhibits, bottled water, taxes and gratuity.
The Living Desert offers guests the experience of getting close to nature. Nature trails, animal shows, a state-of-the-art wildlife hospital and much more are featured at The Living Desert, a unique zoo and botanical garden. Giraffes, wallabies, mountain lions, zebras, and cheetahs are just a few of the incredibe animals from Australia, Africa and North America on display. The botanical gardens include geographic replicas of area as diverse as Baja California's Desert and the exotic deserts of Madagascar. Experience The Living Desert with a memorable, docent-guided, Behind-the-Scenes tram or walking tour. Stop by the interactive Discovery Center to visit one of the largest G-scale model train displays, enjoy a Wildlife Wonders animal presentation, hike the nature trails, and explore the state-of-the-art Wildlife Hospital. The Living Desert's mission is desert conservation through preservation, education, and appreciation.

Includes deluxe roundtrip transportation, admission to Palm Springs Aerial Tram, pre-board Tram Tickets, free time at the top of the tram to explore hiking and walking trails, 20-minute film on the construction of the tram, observation terraces to enjoy valley views from the mountain station, free time in downtown Palm Springs to explore shops (time permitting), bottled water, taxes and gratuity.
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway has the world's largest rotating tram car and travels over 2.5 miles along te cliffs of Chino Canyon. It transports visitors to the pristine wilderness journey on the tram itself, tram cars rotate slowly, offering spectaular views of the valley below. At the tram's Mountain Station elevation 8,516 feet and 30 degrees cooler than the desert floor - guests will enjoy 180 degrees of spectacular views of the valley, hike miles of trails, watch two documentary films, or visit the natural history museum. This trek to the top of the famous mountain is truly a singular experience!

This unique and "satisfying" Epicurean tour on El Paseo will give guests a one-of-a-kind glimpse at the often times missed hidden treasures of Palm Desert. Experienced, local "foodie" guides will introduce guests to the culture and history of the Palm Springs Valley, as they venture on foot to 6 locally-owned restaurants to taste culinary delights of all kinds. Between each tasting, guests will learn about the art, history and culture of the area and some unique facts about each of the restaurants. With so much happening on El Paseo, this tour offers an insiders' take on the diverse culinary and cultural offerings of this fashionable boulevard and the surrounding area. This is an outdoor walking tour, so comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended.

Note: All leisure activities have a minimum participation requirement and are subject to cancellation. If a cancellation occurs, a full refund will be provided for that activity. Full refunds cannot be guaranteed for cancellations received after April 11th and on-site registration will be on a space-available basis only. A wait list is available for all tours when the maximum number of attendees has been reached. After April 11th , BSA is unable to accept exchanges between individuals registered for an event who no longer wish to attend and persons wanting to register onsite.
