Please join the 2024 Convention Committee Spouses for a meet and greet at Elaine's Terrace. Enjoy a coffee, tea or a breakfast pastry and meet old and new friends to kick off the 2024 Convention!

Guided E-Bike Tour

$145 per person. Does not include lunch.

Join us on a fun-filled and informative ride around Downtown Asheville! This two and a half hour guided bike tour is the perfect way to get up close and personal with the city's charm and fascinating history. Participants will see Asheville's notworthy architectural gems, take in stunning scenery from carefully chosen viewpoints, and hear the stories behind Asheville's most significant historic sites.

Asheville Art Safari Tour

Please meet at the Atrium Lobby at 12:00 p.m.

$170 per person. Includes lunch, waters, and snacks.

Arrive at the Asheville River Arts District, the hip upcoming warehouse-turned-art-district along the French Broad River. There are over 100 artists in the district representing almost every possible artistic medium. More than 65 prominent artists are regularly open every day of the week. Popular artists include glass blowers, potters, metal workers and textile artists. The group will visit three prominent artists who will demonstrate their craft and communicate about their techniques and works to the group.

Biltmore Estate Tour

Please meet at the Atrium Lobby at 12:00 p.m.

$260 per person. Includes lunch and waters. THIS EVENT IS FULL.

En route a guide will give a windscreen tour of Asheville and provide you with an informative and entertaining background about the history of Asheville, the impact of George Vanderbilt and his Biltmore Estate on the region, and Asheville's phenomenal Art Deco architecture. Lunch will take place in Biltmore Estate's Stable Cafe (or other Biltmore Restaurant). Participants will then embark on a self-guided tour of the Biltmore House & Estate Gardens as well as Biltmore's Antler Village & Winery.

Yoga

Spouse and Companion Painting & Mimosa Brunch

Please meet in Mountain View Terrace/Skyline

$125 per person

An instructor will lead participants trough a step by step process to create their own piece of art. All supplies, including protective smocks are included. Coffee, tea, pastries, and mimosas will be served.

Chimney Rock Park & Lake Tour

Please meet at the Atrium Lobby at 12:00 p.m.

$215 per person. Includes: boat tour, lunch and beverages (waters, sodas, beers).

Take a deep breath of cool, clean mountain air, then head for the top where you reach the chimney and trails. You can take the elevator up 26 stories insite the mountain to the sky lounge gift shop or hike along an exciting trail to the top of a 500 million-year-old rock. Then take a tour aboard a pontoon boat to enjoy the lake vistas as seen in the movie "Dirty Dancing".

Fly Fishing Tour

Be guided by Asheville's premier Fly Fishing guide service. The fishing guides specialize in trout, smallmouth bass, and musky in WNC's river systems. passengers to each boat! Let us take you to a fantastic tropical sandbar and bring the water toys! Water and drinks and snacks included. IMPORTANT: Only 12 spots available. Lazoom Bus - Fender Bender Band & Beer Tour

Hop on and rock out as we visit 3 breweries in three hours on a purple bus with live music from a local band! Grab a drink before you depart and bring on board while you jam along with new and old friends. Lazoom will take you to 3 of their favorite local breweries: Highland Brewing, New Belgium, and the Wedge. Dance (in your seat!) and experience the best beers and beats Asheville has to offer on Lazoom's Fender Bender Beer Bus.

Golf Tournament

Please plan to be at your cart at the hotel course no later than 11:45 a.m.

$260 per person. Includes: box lunch, golf, cart, professionals, taxes and gratuity.

Donald Ross originally designed this historic course in 1926, and it was overhauled in 2001 to keep the same feel and spirit.  It has since earned nods from Conde Nast Traveler (Top 20 Southern US Golf Resorts in 2011).  This historic course has consistently been acknowledged as one of the Top Resort Courses in North Carolina by Golfweek Magazine.

TUESDAY, MAY 7, 2024 /12:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Guided Waterfall Tour

Please meet at the Atrium Lobby at 12:00 p.m.

$190 per person. Includes: guided tour, water, light snacks, box lunch, beer, and soda.

The 10,000-acre DuPont State Forest is home to over 90 miles of trails leading hikers to beautiful waterfalls, tranquil mountain lakes, and rushing streams. In addition to its geologic features, DuPont Forest is also home to hundreds of plants and wildflowers. The professional guide will have full-color indentification charts of species that will be in bloom. A special bonus is that you will be taken to three significant and photogenic waterfalls. Two of these waterfalls were filmed in the Last of the Mohicans and the first Hunger Games was also filmed here. Please be prepared to wear comfortable clothes suitable for the predicted weather and shoes appropriate for a moderate walk no more than 2 miles.

Note: All leisure activities have a minimum participation requirement and are subject to cancellation. If a cancellation occurs, a full refund will be provided for that activity. Full refunds cannot be guaranteed for cancellations received after April 15th and on-site registration will be on a space-available basis only. A wait list is available for all tours when the maximum number of attendees has been reached. After April 15th, BSA is unable to accept exchanges between individuals registered for an event who no longer wish to attend and persons wanting to register onsite.
